Enriching lives by contact with nature, being inspired and transformed.
Ask yourself
Where have I found encouragement, calm and stillness over the past few months
and go there now.....
If you want to see the extraordinary in the ordinary, and the magnificent in the mundane, you have to just stop and look.

Workshops, Presentations and Webinars to Inspire
Imagine if you and your team were more enlightened, energetic and effective?
My presentations & events will inspire and motivate you and your team to seek a richer connection with the earth.
These presentations give a theoretical perspective for applying nature interventions within your organisation. Researched evidence for over 70 years has demonstrated physical, mental and psychological benefits which are measurable and proven.
My talks stir people to action.
Expeditions to Delight!
I offer outings to places of outstanding beauty, bursting with life and colours. Being with trees we discover humility, acceptance and hope.
Meeting people outdoors can be fun, interesting and uplifting.
Time in wilderness helps us to think, focus, heal and reflect.
My Expeditions take place in the magical gardens of Jimi and June Blake in Tinode near Blessington, Killiney Beach, Fernhill Gardens, Phoenix Park and Farmleigh Gardens, Dodder River Valley, Monkstown Valley, Peoples Park Dunlaoire, Dunlaoire West Pier, Cabinteely Park, Herbert Park The Botanical Gardens, Knocksink Woods, Lovers Leap, Ballinasligin Wood & The Gap, Glencullen.
Nature Journal Events
Nature Journaling is addictive and strengthens your memory. People find these Sunday outings great fun, educational and relaxing. I take you to places of beauty and interest where we will discover all sorts of treasures. My Nature Journaling group started in August 2020 and has been a source of strength during these times.
“Joyce’s passion and commitment to bringing the natural world into our ordinary everyday lives … should act as a beacon of inspiration for others to follow.”
— John Feehan, geologist, botanist, author and broadcaster, County Offaly.
A bit about me
From age 4 I have loved and enjoyed the friendship of wild flowers, grasses and bugs.
Growing up I climbed trees, built huts, milked cows and swam in the local Dodder River. My brother Keith and I rose early on Saturday mornings to grow annuals and lettuces.
My Grandma Florence gave us roses, lilac, cherry trees and so much else.
I taught science, planted trees and dug school gardens. I worked in Airfield Farm as an Education Guide and developed Activity Programmes for retired people, providing meaning, occupation and enjoyment.
“Passion is lifted from the Earth by the muddy hands of the young; it travels along grass stained sleeves to the heart.”
Last Child in the Woods, by Richard Louv
“The sudden passionate happiness which the natural world can trigger in us, may well be the most serious business of all.”
